There will be no school for students on September 4 as our teachers participate in a professional development day.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 2.

Join us for a special Grandparent’s Day celebration!

Start the morning with snacks and a heartfelt presentation honoring our beloved grandparents.

We’ll then gather for Mass at noon.

Join us us as we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis with our annual Pet Blessing!

Families are welcome to bring their pets for a short blessing ceremony recognizing the special role animals play in our lives.

Please be sure pets are leashed, caged or safely secured.

Friday, December 18 marks the end of our first semester. Students will be dismissed at noon, and no aftercare will be available.

Our Christmas vacation officially begins at dismissal time—enjoy the holiday break!

Morning Star is on break for the holidays from Monday, December 21 through Friday, January 4. Wishing all our Comets a magical and restful Christmas season!

The holidays are over — school starts again on Tuesday, January 5! Get ready for new adventures and great times ahead.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no school on Monday, January 18, 2027.

We encourage our community to reflect on his legacy of justice, equality, and service. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 19.

Save the date for the 64th Annual Morning Star Catholic School Fashion Show on Friday, January 29 at Loews Royal Pacific Resort.
